Best Six Pack Ab Exercises for Women

A woman’s body is different from a man’s body; Hence, exercise results differs for both sexes. It is because of the physical dissimilarity, that when women do their ab workouts, the results are different from what men obtain. Women, who exercise to achieve six-pack abs, can get a chiselled midriff, while they maintain their womanly curves at the same time.

If you plan to work out your midriff through a six-pack ab exercise routine, you probably have to do some research on this and you will find that there are few women centric exercises which can help you tone and sculpt your midriff. There may not be many exercise routines for women to build six-packs. However, do not lose heart, as this article presents the best tips on how to get that six-pack abs.

Before discussing the exercise routines, it is important to know the major criteria that can help you to build the perfect abs. Following are the three key factors that you need to follow while doing ab workouts:

1.   Exercise

2.   Diet

3.   Mental Strength

A perfect blend of the above three is essential to achieve the perfect six-pack abs. Slacking in any one of these would result in a failure. For muscle strengthening, along with the above, you can get an ab belt at discount through a flex belt coupon and use it frequently.

This article talks about the exercise routines for women to achieve six-pack abs. Do the following exercise regularly, increasing the pace and duration as you progress.

Mountain Climber Using a Swiss Ball

You will need a Swiss ball for this routine. Mountain climber is the most common exercise for building six-packs. Place the Swiss ball on the floor and place your hands on it with a shoulder length distance between them.  Slowly pull one leg up, making the knee touch the chest. Contract the ab muscles and feel the muscles tighten. Stay in this position for a count of 10 and slowly return the leg back to the starting position. Follow the same procedure with the other leg. Initially, you can do this exercise for 15 reps with each leg, per session. Then, you can gradually increase the count as you get used to it.

Jackknife Using the Swiss Ball

This is another great exercise for women who want to build great abs. You need a Swiss ball for this exercise as well. This is a little tricky to do and you may require assistance to get into the specific posture. Keep your legs next to the Swiss ball and get into a position of doing push-ups. Raise your legs (or have someone help you do so) and place your feet on the Swiss ball, such that they are a foot apart. Now, use your feet and roll the Swiss ball closer to your chest. Tighten the ab muscles, as you move the Swiss ball closer to your chest. Try to bring it as close as possible to the chest and then push it back the same way to the starting position. You can repeat this exercise for 15 times and can increase it with time.

Crunch like Men

Don’t worry, if you don’t own a Swiss ball. You can do the same ab workouts that men do. They work for women as well. However, the results are not quick as they are for men because of the physiology differences between men and women. With little patience and dedication, you can achieve your dream six-pack on long-term.

Aerobic exercises are more in the nature of physical activities of relatively lower intensity. It is safer to begin with some easy aerobic exercises and then to gradually move to the tougher ones.

Aerobic exercises may be defined as a group of physical activities that include running, jogging, cycling, swimming and such similar exercises. For many, taking care of your face is an important part alongside taking care of one’s health. For women, looking their best is a huge deal, and I mean that. I, personally, Love taking care of how I look and trying to reverse the signs of premature aging as much as possible. Women tend to look and search of anything that might come to use when it comes to having completely perfect skin. We undergo many facial skin problems, which include Acne as a teenager, dry skin when we mature, and even trying to get rid cellulite.

Having Perfect skin is not impossible. You have to look at all the factors that help you REACH perfect skin. These factors include:

1) DAILY FACIAL CARE- These most importantly includes three easy steps. WASH, TONE, MOISTURIZE. For whatever your skin type may be, following these three steps will bring you one step closer to great skin.

2) OUTSIDE SALON TREATMENTS- These aren’t necessary all the time but very nice to do once a month or so. Please try to get any facials or salon laser treatments from PROFESSIONALS, certified professionals, anyone else can probably damage your skin without you suspecting. I say this with experience. Look at reviews, good sources, and online for more information of how to find the right salon for yourself.

3) DETOXIFY- Yes, detoxifying your body from inside out is just as essential to keeping your skin looking healthy as eating right. There are many modes to Detoxify- Foot pads, Drinks (aloe Vera, acai), Laxatives, etc.

4) EATING HEALTHY- Your diet plays an important role when it comes to looking good on the outside. Keep a close watch at what you eat, those pimples might be showing up because your diet is poor. Add lots of water, fruits, and vegetables to your diet. If nothing is working, maybe its time to see an nutritionist or ask your physician what you can do to help you get back in shape.

5) WORKING OUT- Exercising and working out at least 3-4 times a week is very important to keeping yourself looking great. Try to take baby steps and bring it up a notch once your body adjusts.

6) USING THE RIGHT PRODUCTS- Sometimes your skin doesn’t look and feel it’s best because you aren’t using the right products. Make sure you ask an SKINCARE EXPERT to see what your skin really needs. Many women just don’t know sometimes and they are doing something wrong.

Bike Ride your way to Fitness

Mar 3 2012 · Filed under Fitness Health & Wellbeing Thoughts · 1 COMMENTS

Remember those days in the park where you could ride your bike all the time? Without a worry on your mind and that first block you went without the help of your loved one holding the back of your bike? Those were truly the best days…I still remember when I first learned to ride a bike…I had to share mine with my brother, I was 10 years old…kinda late but hey at least it happened. It used to be so much fun to ride the bike all day around the blocks near our apartment.

Nowadays Its hard to find the time to go to the park and ride bikes. But this year I’ve decided to start riding my bike again for so many reasons. Firstly, its OBVIOUSLY a great way tot improve your overall health. Its a great form of Exercise for your mind and body. Secondly, you can explore! You can go anywhere you want and at the same time get all the benefits of riding your bike. My brother and I will be riding bikes all the time this summer, I’m thinking of getting an e-bike because e-bikes are great ways to commute faster. They are also very durable,

Tips for Achieving Your Fitness Dreams

Feb 14 2012 · Filed under Beauty Fitness Health & Wellbeing · 3 COMMENTS

It’s only February and we are still fighting the cold as we walk around with eight layers of clothing on—but that doesn’t stop Victoria’s Secret from issuing their annual swim catalog that ignites in us dreams of warmer temps, beautiful beaches and a rush of urgency to hit the gym to reverse the holiday damage and sculpt our figures into a creation that even Gisele Bundchen would be envious of. So if you have plans to get into shape before summertime rolls around, be sure to check out the following tips for keeping your goals and achieving the bod you’ve always wanted:

Set measurable goals. “Get healthier and skinnier” are goals that most women have. But so you can make reaching them an easier process, be sure to set goals that are a little more specific than that. If you’re unhappy with your waistline and could do without an extra five pounds around your midsection, make your goal to lose those five pounds before a certain date. This way you will be able to track your progress to tailor your diet and workout regime as needed.

Be realistic. Okay, so maybe the above mention of Gisele isn’t the most realistic when talking about what you’d ideally like for your body to look like (I mean, the woman is a genetically gifted freak!). Of course, you can reach for something similar but when planning to revamp your health and become more physically fit, it is best to be as realistic as possible so that you aren’t disappointed with the results that you reap. Set a workout plan and diet to coincide with what your body can handle and don’t push yourself to unhealthy extremes for the sake of thinner thighs.

Find a workout buddy. With busy schedules taking over our lives, finding the time to work out can sometimes fall last on the long-list of priorities when all you want to do after an exhausting day is go home to face plant on the couch. So be sure to set a workout schedule to which you can easily stick and enlist the help of a workout buddy who also plans on getting bikini-body ready. Working out is easier when you have someone else who has the same goals as you—so find a friend and together make a pact that the two of you will strictly adhere to your gym routine.

Reward yourself. If you’re kicking butt and taking names when it comes to making headway on the track to a more in-shape you, then you deserve a reward for a job well done. And by reward, I don’t mean a cheat day spent stopping by every fast food chain within a 40 miles radius of your home—I mean a reward like treating yourself to a new swimsuit or killer dress that would look especially great on that new body of yours!

Stay positive. When you’re working towards your health and fitness goals, you may reach frustrating points where you aren’t seeing the improvement that you would like. But rather than forfeiting, hold your chin up, strap on a positive attitude and kick your workouts into high gear! Remember that anything worth having is going to be a fight—so keep going and you are sure to win in the end!
