7 Must Try Teas for Weight Loss

Post by Moni at 02:22 on Beauty, Health & Wellbeing

I am an official tea lover. I love teas and to try new ones all the time. There are many teas out in the market today that significantly improve your overall health. Many have left people totally amazed with the benefits they offer. I will be talking about teas I have researched, which are great for weight loss or weight management purposes. Along with drinking teas like these, you also have to keep up a healthy diet and exercise plan. It’s added benefits and faster results for you.

Some Teas I have found really helpful for weight loss:

1)Papaya Tea- A great aid for digestion. It helps break down food for you and improve your digestion ability.

2)Green Tea- Number one tea for weight loss. This powerful antioxidant is proven to help in many ways including reduction of body fat, body weight, blood pressure, helping you get a healthy heart and much more. Other forms include SENCHA and Matcha (powdered green tea)

3)Oolong tea- Controls Obesity, aids with giving you stronger metabolism

4)Pu-erh Tea- Very popular with the celebrities, this tea is known for promoting heart, digestive, and metabolic health. It is great energizer for the morning.

5)Yerba Mate Tea-Great antioxidant and for controlling obesity.

The Last two are Popular as TEA BLENDS: Must try for achieving your weight loss goals. Teas are much safer than taking diet pills. You should definitely give it a try.

6)TAVA TEA- This is a wonderful blend of Oolong, Pu-erh, Sencha. The combination of the three can produce amazing weight loss results. Taking about 3 cups a day is ideal.

7)TeaLux’s FAT BURNER Blend- This is very similar to Tava Tea with added flavors like peppermint and tulsi. Great tea! My top Favorites are the Tea Blends.

Other Teas to Try: Rooibos Tea, Lotus Tea, & Black Tea

Green tea for the win, haha. I love green tea, but I also like black tea. I haven’t heard anything about black tea being good for weight loss though. I like the idea of tea being a weight loss supplement – and it’s natural too, and healthy. :)

I have lost weight with the Tea blends already Im so surprised. I just take it twice a day…didnt even think it would work but I am a believer lol I agree green tea is the best. I used to be very loyal to taking Green tea like three times a day but that slowly faded and my weight just shot up. Trying to get back to that habit again. It truly does work.

I am allergic to tea. I am allergic to caffeine actually so no caffeine anything. I am used to it so it doesn’t effect my life in any way.

Hrm. I love green tea but I never thought about it’s weight loss potential. Probably because I don’t drink it enough for it to be beneficial to me in that way. I’ll have to drink it more often to see.

@Moni, Oooh pills. Those things I try to avoid like the plague. They have so many associated health risks, such as damaging your liver. The biggest problem with them is that most of them just dry you out (so you are only losing water weight), which is NOT good for your overall health. Exercising and stretching while dehydrated is very bad for your muscles. :(

I have heard good things about a supplement called L-carnitine, which helps promote fat burning, and nourishes your muscles at the same time. It is rather expensive though. I’m adding a below link if you want to read more about it. ^_^

I’m also linking you to a blog post I made about the Paleo diet, which is rather awesome! (And I can tell you it works from experience) It takes a great deal of self discipline to keep up with, but in the end it is very rewarding, and it helps you build muscle & raises your core metabolism even without exercise (because some people just don’t have the time or energy nowadays…) I think you might find the information interesting at the very least. :)

It seems like tea itself wouldn’t make you lose weight alone. I guess we also need to exercise and burn some fats. -_-

    HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!

I don’t like to drink tea anymore, but green tea is amazing. It works wonders and is the ultimate weapon to burning fat.

Tea is actually a newfound obsession of mine. My favorites are chamomile, green, and peppermint. Tava and Pu-erh sound really interesting; I’ll definitely look for them next time I’m at the store.

One of my favorite parts of drinking tea has to be the mugs. I love collecting colorful, beautiful, and sometimes shamelessly fangirl-y mugs (I have a Hedwig mug and a Tardis mug). I also love the feeling of a warm cup of tea in my hand; it makes me feel like I can do anything.

I’ll look for these at the store! Happy new year, Moni!
